Jul. 5th, 2008 08:57 pmMD bought Tekken 5 for 5 euros and I tried it yesterday. I'm still Tekken Master! I beat him 5-10, bwahahaa, despite him playing videogames several times a week and I'm only playing Tekken, once every third year or so. There was this one summer I spent almost completely sitting in front of his Playstation and beating my way through Tekken Tag Tournament. I still remember the combos instinctively.
Perhaps because of Tekken or being on holiday, I had one really long action scifi adventure dream last night. I was one of galaxy's guerilla freedom force, and my lover was mysterious super fighter guy. Unfortunately he had been sent to other dimension, and when he came back he was unable to control his berserk fighter rage. He was chained to a steel containment cubicle that the guerilla people took with them where ever they were hiding. I was the only one who could placate him when he was out of control. He was covered in slime and vomit, but I stroked his cheek and kissed him, my heart was full of tender and fierce love...
HOW COME MY UNCONSCIOUSNESS IS THIS CHEESY?!?!?! I'm usually thinking myself as not very romantic person but apparently my unconsciousness is trying to tell me something..
Scifi romance writers take note - I sell saccharine sweet plot twist and situations straight out of the caramel boiling pot of my brain.

Date: 2008-07-05 08:11 pm (UTC)Scifiunet on kyllä parhaita.

Date: 2008-07-05 08:04 pm (UTC)Oh my gosh, as I am typing this I remember that I just had a sci-fi dream yesterday night that I had forgotten until I wrote here. Earth was about to be blown up by a meteor/alien forces/war and only a select few people are able to leave on various large traveling space stations. I was a pilot and along with two other pilots we escaped from the space station and acting as if we were missing in combat so that we could warp out of there into another dimension where we set up our own life on another planet... It was really cool. I think it was a romantic sci-fi dream too! Thank you for your post since it made me remember a dream I had forgotten!!!

Come to think of it, couple of decades ago it would have been a interesting scifi theme to have several people on different sides of the globe do dream mining via computer network.
