Trends for year 2008

My prognosis for this year's trends are:

Fashion
- motif: mushroom
- pattern: small irregular rainbow coloured things on white background
- trim: lace with pictorial funny pattern (like animals or rude signs) or text
- alternative mood: intentionally boring and dry late fifties scandinavian linen.
- flat, dry two-tone fabrics, for example warp greige, weft dull greyish brown, with very small naive white embroideries (or cheaper version prints) in unusual places.


General
- favourite job: trend analyst or trend seeker, futurologist

Mushrooms~ <3 I'd love to find something like a green suede A-line skirt with cream and brown mushroom appliqué in stores.

Me too... but so far our best bet is at JM (they've been having "recipie" about mushroom & their Christmas card had mushrooms too - I really hope it means a collection about mushrooms!).
In regular shops, I've seen some mushroom allover prints lately, but I'm expecting a mushroom boom. If it does not happen by itself, I'm going to make it!
