rainoThis is a shopping entry, I think it's my first! I just want to show off stuff I've bought here in Paris.
Flea market & dumpster diving! Houndstooth headband and bracelet made from dumpster fabric (I live in the middle of small sewing studios who throw away tons of fabric scraps every day. When I have time, I go pick some. Of course, most of the fabrics are either unusably-small pieces or ugly, but I've gathered a lot of nice material too. Tin boxes from flea market, 1 e each. My new favourite necklace says "BAMBI", I bought it from a gang of cute gay boys drunk on champagne at flea market. Plastic heaband from Antoinette & Lili. Jane marple pouchette was a free gift with Cutie magazine.
Yarn from a dusty old yarn shop owned by a dusty old lady. Lace from flea market from crazy lady. Pearls found at street where my workplace is (my love is embaarassed about me being butt-upwards picking up stuff from the streets all the time). Underneath is a T-shirt I decorated with extravagant bow appliques from Eurokangas.
Today's best find! A love match from secondhand shop Guerrisol close to Sacre Coeur church - only five euros, fits me beautifully and the label says "Finnish Exclusive"!
Today we found a little shop that sells used sewing machines and they had some portable ones too! Price was around 150 e. Did not buy any yet though.
