(no subject)

Collection for the fashion show should be finished excepth for "the final finish" in Friday, and I just can't concentrate on it. I just want to sew something nice for MEEEEE. Currently I'm working on a beige dress that has red cross stitch embroidery on the hem, that says "J'aime le fiction sqientifique!" and oter silly things. Also, I got the most awesome print fabric from UFF sale, it has large border of tea pots and hens. It's so going to be a dress soon. And all the other fabrics in my collection call out - "I'm so cute! Make me into a pretty summer dress!".

It's been a very fruitful UFF sale season, I got 2 autumn coats, a cute straw bag and today I bought a fur coat (!!! musta krimiturkki, ei mikään minkki sentään). I'm quite surprised at myself. I think this 50's dress etiquette book "Wife Dressing" I got some time ago has really impacted me, the writer obviously has some intense fur fetish because she writes about furs more than about anything else, and with such sensual choice of words - and suddenly the crimean lamb furs started to look really good. I guess it would be really easy to brainwash me. Parempi kai joutua turkiksi kuin makkaraksi, turkki voi olla hieno esine vuosikymmeniä mutta makkarasta tulee parissa päivässä kakkaa. But I still would not buy a new fur!

Suddenly it's summer, potatoes put to grow, seeds waiting to be planted, grass so green I'd like to eat it straight from the ground. Time goes so fast. Where will I be in half a year?
